How to create Public holiday/ Non working days
Steps to create Public holiday/ Non working days
- 1. Go to menu Payroll and select Settings or Go to menu HR and select Settings. In the screenshots below, the Payroll menu has been selected.
- 2. Click Non-Working Days.
- 3. Double-click the blank line to edit the calendar name in the calendar column.
- 4. Create the calendar name (e.g. Yearly Calendar) and select Default in the Default column to make it the default calendar.
- 6. Click Save.
- 7. Select the Yearly Calendar.
- 8. In the Days tab, double-click the blank line to enter the date in the Day column, insert the Non working day's name in the Description column, Select Non-Working Days in the Non-Working Day Type column , and Both In the Gender column.
- 9. Click save
- 10. Click the arrow next to 2026 to copy the non-working days from 2026 to 2027.
- 11. Click Confirm .
- 12. The non working days of 2027 are now created.
Any changes to the 2027 calendar must be made manually by repeating the same steps above.
