How to create Country of Nationality
- 1. Go to menu Payroll and select Settings or Go to menu HR and select Settings. In the screenshots below, the payroll menu has been selected.
- 2. Click Countries
- 3. In the Country code column, insert the Country code (e.g. MU) and in the Country name column insert the Country name (e.g. Mauritian)
- 4. Click Save
The country of Nationality is now created and available for selection.
How to assign Country of Nationality for a new recuit
Mauritian
- During the new recruit process, at step 2 Employee data
- Click the dropdown list of country of nationality 1 to select the country of nationality (e.g. Mauritian)
Expatriate
- During the new recruit process, at step 2 Employee data
- Click the dropdown list of country of nationality 1 to select the country of nationality (e.g. France)
How to update an expatriate’s country of nationality to dual nationality
In this example, the expatriate’s existing nationality is France under “Country of Nationality 1”. To add Mauritian as the second nationality and set the employee as having dual nationality, follow the steps below:
- 1. Go to menu Employee and select Employee List
- 2. Locate the employee and click the employee’s surname
- 3. On the Details tab, go to Employee Data
- 4. Click the dropdown list of country of nationality 2 to select the country of nationality (e.g. Mauritian)
- 5. Click Save
Country of nationality linked with EDF
- If employee's country of nationality 1 is Mauritian, the Citizen checkbox is automatically ticked
- If employee's country of nationality 1 is not Mauritian ,the Citizen checkbox remains unticked
Country link with Institution
Country is also used in HRMS to link each institution to a specific country .Follow the steps below:
- 1. Go to menu HR and select Settings.
- 2. Click Institutions
- 3.Click the dropdown list of country name to select the country of the Institution (e.g. Mauritius)
- 4.Click Save
