Backup Procedure

List of errors and warnings that you may receive during a backup procedure.

You are currently using 1 set of security backup. It is advisable to use 12 sets, 1 per month

Your security backups are being saved in one directory every month, thus each security backup overwrites the previous one.
It is better to backup in a different directory each month.
Start Payroll Setup and go to Configuration | Backups.
Position on the Security Backup record and change the sequence from 1 to 12.
12 directories (S01 to S12) must be created on the server under the Sauve directory.

Backup cannot be performed. Please update the backup source files

The attached historical years and fiscal years definition are missing a year number. Usually it is the fiscal year numbers that is missing the current fiscal year.
Start Payroll Setup and go to Installation | Databases.
Verify the attached fiscal years and update as appropriate.
