Events Log

The Events log stores all system events, including user log in and log out, actions taken by a user like opening a form, printing a report, performing a payroll calculation, etc.

Log Id: Serial number generated by the system to uniquely identify the log.

Category: Available categories are System, Application, Security.

Type: I when the log is of informative nature, W for warnings, C for critical errors

Log date: Date and time at which log entry was generated.

System code: PAY for Payroll, STP for Payroll Setup.

Process ID: Identifies the process, form or report that generated the log entry.

User: The user that was using the system when the log entry was made.

Computer name: Name of the computer on which the application was running when the log was made.

Source: Identifies the portion of code that was running when the log entry was made.

Event details: Detailed information about the logged event.
