As per the above published information, an employer is required to withhold PAYE on Solidarity at the rate 25% or 10% based on the below conditions:
- Where emoluments in a month exceed Rs 230,769 and
- EDF not submitted and
- An employer is required to withhold PAYE on Solidarity at the rate 25% of that part of the emoluments that exceeds Rs 230,769 or
- withhold PAYE on Solidarity at the rate of 10% of the emoluments whichever is lower
