As per the above published information, employees may request their employer to deduct Solidarity Levy under PAYE System at the rate of 25% or 10% based on the below conditions:

• Where emoluments in a month do not exceed Rs 230,769 and

• EDF not submitted and

• Request form duly filled by the employee & submitted to his employer (Illustrated below)

Insert the requested Solidarity Levy percentage. To do so follow the steps below:

• Go to Employee EDF

• Choose employee

• Go to column Deduct SL %, insert 25% or 10% (Illustrated below)

• Save

• It is compulsory to fill in the below request form and submit to the employer To access to the form, seek assistance from the MRA helpdesk

• Step 1: Go to Payroll/Monthly Procedures/EDF

• Step 2: Choose employee

• Step 3: Go to column Deduct SL %

• Step 4: Insert the percentage rate 25% or 10%

• Step 5: Save
