How to modify an existing List

If you have created a list and want to modify it by adding new columns and setting new criteria, follow the steps below.

The example provided is based on an existing list, My List, available in the Employee List section. While modifying My List, an additional column Probation End Date will be added. Additionally, filters will be applied to show only employees of a specific company whose probation ends within a specified period.

To modify the existing My List :

1. Go to Employee - Employee List

2. Go to More and click Filter

3. In the Select an option section Modify an existing list is already selected, click My List in the Select a list section

4. Click the Criteria tab

5. Under Data Filters, Click Company/Dept/Sub-Dept (To filter employees from a company for example Hotel Co Ltd)

6. Tick the checkbox Hotel Co Ltd

7. Under Data Filters, Click Employee Status

8. Tick On probation (To filter employees who are on probation)

9. Under Date Filters, Click Probation End Date (To specify the probation ending period)

10. Insert or choose from the dropdown list the From and To probation ending period

Note :

Use the scroll bar to navigate through the criteria that have been defined as shown in illustration A

Use the delete icon to remove unnecessary criteria as shown in illustration B

11. Click Columns tab

12. In the Available Columns section, scroll to select the new columns to be added, in this example Probation end date

13. Click Probation end date, then click the arrow to move the new column to the Selected Columns section.

Note :

If you want to reorganise the display of the Selected Columns, for example move the column Company at the top, click the column Company and click the arrow up

Until the column appears at the top

14. Click the Save tab

15. Click the Save button

Note :

If the modified list is Set as default list it will automatically be displayed when accessing the list section

16. To view the modified My List, go to Employee List -List of Employees, Select My List from the dropdown list

The employee grid displays employees of Hotel co Ltd whose probation ends within a specific period
