1. Go to menu Payroll and select Settings or Go to menu HR and select Settings. In the screenshots below, the Payroll menu has been selected.
2. Click Non-Working Days.
3. In the calendar column, insert the calendar name (e.g. Yearly Calendar)
4. Select Default.The default flag sets this yearly calendar as the automatic default calendar for Payroll and HR settings.
5. Click Save.
6. Click the Yearly Calendar.
7a. Click the Days tab.
7b. In the Day column, choose or insert the date of the Public holiday/non working day.
7c. In the Description column insert the name of the Public holiday/non working day.
7d. In the Non-Working Day Type column, choose the non working day type. For example choose Public holiday for New Year celebration, choose Disaster for Cyclones.
7e. In the Gender column, choose both.
8. Click save
The public holiday is now added to the calendar.
