====== Leave Group / Entitlement ======
The Leave Groups are used to group employees who have the same leave entitlement and leave carry forward entitlement. Each employee will be assigned to a Leave Group.

**Leave Group**: select a leave group from the list
**Task**: select a leave from the list
**Frequency**: //Per year// when the leave entitlement applies for one year. \\
//Per Case// when the leave entitlement applies to one case (for example a prolonged sickness).
**Year of service**: the number of years or months that an employee is required to have worked for the company before being entitled to the leave. The general format is y.mm where y is the number of years and mm the number of months. \\
Here are some examples: \\

**Nbr of days**: number of days entitled for the selected frequency (year or case)
**Pro rata**: //Yearly pro rata//, //Month by month pro rata//, //Full// \\
Yearly pro rata calculates the number of days eligible for new comers based on the joined or confirmation date. For example an employee is entitled to local leaves as from 1/July, so he will be eligible to 6/12 of 16 locals. \\
Month by month pro rata calculated the number of days eligible on a month by month basis, where an employee for example is entitled in January to 1/12 of 16 locals, then in February to 2/12, etc. \\
Full means a new comer is entitled to the total days even though he was not present as from January.
**Base Date**: Date used to calculate leave entitlement. This can be either the //Joined date// or //Confirmation date//

**Refund Type**: //No Refund//, //Refunded on calendar periods//, //Refunded from 1-Jan to 31-Dec//, //No refund (1-jan to 31-dec)// \\
**Payment Code**: the payment code used for leave refund.
**Refund Period**: the pay period to refund the leave, where 12 is December, 1 is January next.
**Max Refund**: the maximum days to refund.
**Carry Forward**: check to activate leave carry forward.
**Year max carry forward**: maximum days to carry forward per year.
**Max carry forward**: maximum days authorised in the carry forward pool.
