As per the above published information, an employer is required to withhold PAYE on Solidarity at the rate 25% or 10% based on the below conditions:

  *   Where emoluments in a month exceed Rs 230,769 and

  *   EDF not submitted and

  *   An employer is required to withhold PAYE on Solidarity at the rate 25% of that part of the emoluments that exceeds Rs 230,769 or

  *   withhold PAYE on Solidarity at the rate of 10% of the emoluments whichever is lower
